Lying

I think we pretend we don't lie, but we lie all the time. I asked a mom what she thought her kids thought about lying. She told me her daughter "tells stories" but that her two sons don't lie. 2 minutes later, her older son chased her younger son from the pool in a way that always scares the younger son. The mom challenged him on this telling him not to do it. He said, after we had all watched him do this, that he had NOT done it. Hi mom turned back to talk to me, apparently unaware that one of the sons that doesn't lie had dropped a stinky one minutes after we had talked about it!
